History of The Harbor
In October 2016, The Harbor – Juvenile Assessment Center was established with the primary objective of diverting young individuals away from the juvenile justice system. As the program recognized the significance of providing support to all youth and families within the community, it expanded its operations to encompass four locations in Las Vegas and Henderson. By prioritizing services that revolve around the unique needs of each family, The Harbor has successfully aided more than 30,000 children and families as of December of 2024.
The Harbor Mission
The mission of The Harbor is to be responsive to the well-being of youth, families and victims, by providing meaningful services to improve connectedness to the community through academic achievement, reducing truancy and providing a safe place for guidance.
